2149. Asian Grading System. Not even joking. Or out comes da bamboo stick…

what the fuck. asian parents are pretty crazy about grades but they’re not this ridiculous. calm down on this shit.

Actually, I knew quite a few Asians back in middle and high school whose parents had this exact same mindset. One of them even said that she’d get punished if she got less than a 99 or a 98. Not all Asian parents are extreme, but those that are are fucking scary.

shit delusional kpop fans say

I don’t see how calling a Kpop idol makes a Kpop fan “delusional.” :/ I say the same thing to non-Korean celebrities that I find cute and attractive, too.

This girl has not gotten better at all.

Wow, what do you know. I uploaded the pic first as one huge thing, but it wouldn’t show up when I added it to…

Did she just call Luna and Amber USELESS?

Since when was a lead singer (Luna) useless? Also, there is no such thing as a useless member in a group. Everyone contributes their own. If there was a useless member in a group, that member would most likely get kicked out.

I hate delusional fans like that who think Kpop celebs belong to them. Fuck no, bitches. They were never yours to begin with.

medical-mechanica:

um, excuse me.
but…what the actual fuck?

That’s a rape blossom. It’s actually called a rapeseed, or Brassica napus.
There’s three definitions of the word rape. The first definition is the one everyone knows. The second is the plant (shown above), and the third is “ the skins and stalks of grapes left after wine-making: used in making vinegar” (dictionary.com)

12 Reasons to NOT Eat Dairy

12. Harvard says so. I’m being cheeky here, but Harvard’s new “Healthy Eating Plate” food guide has pushed dairy off the plate, based on Harvard’s assessment that high intake can increase the risk of prostate cancer and possibly ovarian cancer, and also…

but I love cheese. and milk </3

This is honestly so biased. I mean just look at number 12: Harvard says so.
OMG GUYS HARVARD SAID THEREFORE IT MUST BE BAD. Really? Sure Harvard is a school that is reputed for their education, but that doesn’t mean they’re right on this one. And don’t even get me started on number 5: it stinks. That’s a bit subjective don’t you think?

IMO you really shouldn’t be advertising the extreme of you must or must not eat something. The best way to maintain a healthy diet is to have a balanced one. Yes, if you drink more milk than is good for you (and I say for you because that amount is different for everyone) it’s a bad thing. But that’s what MODERATION is for.

^ This.

I’m a vegetarian, and while I don’t drink cow’s milk anymore, I still eat it in the form of ice cream and yogurt (and not all yogurt is made of gelatin). And IMO, real ice cream tastes better than soy ice cream.

I’ve gotten good grades (mostly A’s and B’s) in all my Japanese courses, yet whenever I hear a native Japanese speaker speak, I’m like, “もう一度ゆっくり言ってください.”

If there’s anything I’ve learned since I started studying in Japan, it’s that grades mean nothing in the end. For example, there are foreign students at my university who are in higher level classes than I am, yet there speaking and listening comprehension is really poor. So for anyone studying Japanese, practice conversation with native speakers as much as you can because no matter how good your reading and writing is, it’s not going to help that much in the real world if you can’t communicate effectively with people.

My problem is that I’m just too shy to communicate with native Japanese speakers outside of my Japanese class. One time when my Japanese class classmates and I were practicing for our end-of-the-semester skit presentation at a shopping center (because we were filming our skit, which we were allowed to do), these Japanese girls passed us and I immediately thought, “oh no, what if they think we’re butchering their language? What if our pronunciation is off?!” (we had our skit presentation script double-checked by the Japanese class TAs, so we weren’t worried about the grammar) I’m pretty much like that with any foreign language I learn. I know I should stop worrying, but I just can’t help being shy.

Anónimo preguntó: it is extremely upsetting that you would use the word retarted in your posts.

deaf-aspie:

musicproblems:

It was a submission. We’re sorry you took offense to it. I personally, didn’t make it, but I honestly didn’t read it in an insulting manner. Retarded isn’t always an insult.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, you need to take responsibility for the wording, even if it is a submission, UNLESS you’re correcting said submitter.

And how on the planet Earth can you POSSIBLY say that it’s not always an insult? What in the hell?!

When used against another person, it’s an insult, but that’s not the only definition of “retard”. It’s also a verb that means “to make slow; hinder or delay; delay development or progress of.” Also, there’s a slight difference in pronunciation, according to dictionary.com. The word “retard” that’s used as a verb is pronounced “rih-tard” while the word used as an insult is pronounced “ree-tard.”

I dream high 夢がある

どんな事あっても

目を閉じ その瞬間

描く夢は叶うと

不安の闇から今日も揺らぐよ

落ちそうで飛ぶことできない小鳥のように

この夢叶えることができるか

その一歩踏み出す勇気がなくなる時

I dream high 夢がある

どんな事あっても

目を閉じ その瞬間

描く夢は叶うと

I can fly high 信じてる

夢というあの空へ

翼広げ誰より

自由に飛び回れるきっと

時にはくじけそうなときもあるよ

もう一度立ち上がる勇気必要なのさ

も一度信じよう僕の運命を

超えるんだ全てをかけてさ、大きな壁を

I dream high 夢がある(夢がある~)

どんな事あっても

目を閉じ その瞬間

描く夢(また~)叶うと(あ~)

I can fly high 信じてる

夢というあの空へ(あの空へ~)

翼広げ誰より

自由に飛び回れるきっと

Rap

Dream high, a chance to fly high
痛み乗り越え全てに bye bye
空にふいに輝く星のよに高く飛ぶ HIGH
夢広げ繋げ time for you to shine
これから始まる gotta make em mine
その手叶えて未来はここで 力を与えたいから
Destiny
宿命だろう止まることない運命だろう
目の前の道見えるだろう
君のためwhole new fantasy
ここに手を握りもう一度また
諦めない誓いあるから
夢と未来追いかけまだ

全てかけて情熱で
dream high

どんな事あっても(目を閉じて)
目を閉じ その瞬間
描く夢は叶うと(あ~)
I can fly high

自由に飛び(きっと)回れるきっと

agreed. It’s not even the best drama, and I hate when people praise a drama just because the actors are “hot”. Just because someone’s good looking doesn’t mean they’re good at acting. I started watching this because the plot summary sounded interesting, but the acting came off as mediocre to me, and the episodes didn’t get good until the 5th or 6th episode when they actually started getting to the point of the plot regarding the Ramyun shop.
Acting skills are more important than a bunch of actor’s looks.

Dish: Shoyu Tamago

Location: Clauds Kitchen

Comments: If you guys want something different yet simple and easy to cook for breakfast, I think this one would be perfect!

Procedure:

Step 1:

Boil eggs for 10-12 mins (Tip: Use cold water for boiling to easily peel the egg)

Step 2:

After peeling the eggshell, prepare the a pan, pour soy-sauce on it and wait for it to foam before putting the egg fry it for about a min. Then it’s ready to eat!

japfoodfoodies:

Tamago kake gohan (卵かけご飯, “egg sauce over rice”) or Tamago gohan in short is a popular Japanese breakfastfood consisting of cooked rice topped or mixed with raw egg and—optionally—soy sauce.
